Topics

Is Tailwind a good fit for your project? This workshop serves to provide a technical overview of how Tailwind solves many issues that occur in more traditional CSS strategies. I've worked with CSS for nearly 25 years and have been an avid student of CSS methodologies and arguments for against different strategies. I do believe that Tailwind is a great fit for modern web applications especially if you have more than 1 person that you want to collaborate with on a project. In other words, it's perfect for teams. Tailwind is also controversial but I think many concerns are overblown and exaggerated so we'll be covering all the common ones (with respectful conversation). This is a great workshop for a team that's divided on whether Tailwind works and to clear the air about its technical strengths and weaknesses. This is not necessarily a deep dive into comprehensive features of Tailwind. If you'd like to see a workshop like that, please reach out to us.

This workshop will use React and JSX for examples, but React should not be considered a pre-requisite. If your team is using Vue, Solid, Svelte, or Angular, you will still gain a lot from this brief workshop.
